Ultimo appuntamento per gli Internazionali d’Italia Mx che si sono corsi a Mantova, tappa fissa per in questi anni del campionato pre-mondiale più importante d’Europa. La pioggia caduta copiosa i giorni precedenti alla gara ha reso il tracciato lombardo molto insidioso e nel corso della giornata profondi canali si sono formati aumentando il coefficiente di difficoltà, il Team MaxBart Motorsport porta in pista i suoi due assi Nicholas Lapucci e Luca Ruffini entrambi nella MX2.

Nelle qualifiche Nicholas si trova a suo agio sulla pista in condizioni molto difficili e fa segnare il quinto tempo del suo gruppo, ottima anche la prestazione di Luca che riesce a strappare l’ottavo tempo.

In gara 1 Lapucci al via a causa di un contatto con un avversario che lo ha fatto cadere e una scivolata nel corso dei primi giri gli ha fatto perdere tante posizioni, Nicholas però ha messo in mostra una grandissima rimonta che lo ha visto compiere molti sorpassi andando a chiudere 13°. Luca Ruffini riesce ad inserirsi a centro gruppo al via e con una manche senza commettere gravi errori e tenendo un buon passo finisce alle spalle del suo compagno con il 14° posto.

Nella seconda manche la gara di Lapucci dura solo un giro in quanto è costretto al ritiro a causa di un piccolo problema tecnico. Grandissima la partenza di Luca Ruffini che riesce a mettere la su Husqvarna Fc 250 davanti a tutti all’uscita dal cancello, Luca ha cercato di tenere il ritmo dei migliori piloti della Mx2 per diversi giri dimostrando la sua crescita, Ruffini con una grandissima prestazione riesce a ottenere altri punti con il 14° posto.

Il team MaxBart Motorsport adesso si concentrerà a preparare al meglio la prima gara di Campionato Italiano che si terrà a metà marzo.

Max Bartolini:”Siamo molto contento dei nostri piloti per quello che hanno dimostra oggi su di una pista che era veramente difficile, Nicholas è stato molto bravo nelle qualifiche e se non fosse stato per qualche problema di troppo avrebbe potuto fare molto bene. Luca sta migliorando molto e si vede la sua seconda manche dimostra il grande lavoro che si sta facendo. Adesso ci prepareremo al meglio per l’inizio del Campionato Italiano.”

Last appointment for the Internazionali d’Italia Mx which took place in Mantua, a fixed stop for the most important pre-world championship in Europe in recent years. The heavy rain that fell the days before the race made the Lombardy track very treacherous and over the course of the day deep channels formed, increasing the difficulty coefficient. Team MaxBart Motorsport brings its two aces Nicholas Lapucci and Luca Ruffini to the track, both in the MX2.

In qualifying, Nicholas found himself at ease on the track in very difficult conditions and set the fifth fastest time in his group. Luca’s performance was also excellent as he managed to get the eighth fastest time.

In race 1 Lapucci started due to a contact with an opponent which caused him to fall and a slip during the first laps caused him to lose many positions, but Nicholas showed off a great comeback which saw him make many overtakings going on to finish 13th. Luca Ruffini manages to get into the middle of the group at the start and with one heat without making serious mistakes and keeping a good pace he ends up behind his partner in 14th place.

In the second heat Lapucci’s race lasts only one lap as he is forced to retire due to a small technical problem. Luca Ruffini’s start was great as he managed to put his Husqvarna Fc 250 ahead of everyone at the exit from the gate, Luca tried to keep the pace of the best Mx2 riders for several laps demonstrating his growth, Ruffini succeeded with a great performance to get more points with 14th place.

The MaxBart Motorsport team will now focus on preparing as best as possible for the first race of the Italian Championship which will be held in mid-March.

Max Bartolini: “We are very happy with our drivers for what they showed today on a track that was really difficult, Nicholas was very good in qualifying and if it hadn’t been for a few too many problems he could have done very well. Luca is improving a lot and you can see his second run demonstrating the great work he is doing. Now we will prepare ourselves as best we can for the start of the Italian Championship.”
