Stilo celebrates its twentieth victory at the Dakar Rally

A record-breaking milestone for Stilo with Yazeed Al-Rajhi and Timo Gottschalk securing their first overall victory. Podium finishes in multiple categories showcase Stilo’s unmatched dominance and innovation.

Shubaytah, Saudi Arabia, 17.01.2025 – Stilo, the world leader in competition helmets, has once again etched its name into motorsport history by securing its twentieth victory at the legendary Dakar Rally. The 2025 edition saw remarkable achievements for Stilo-equipped crews, highlighted by Yazeed Al-Rajhi (SAU) and Timo Gottschalk (GER), who clinched their maiden overall victory in the iconic rally raid aboard the Toyota GR DKR Hilux of Team Overdrive.

The win was especially meaningful for Gottschalk, who previously triumphed at the Dakar in 2011 alongside Nasser Al-Attiyah, also equipped with Stilo. The pairing of Al-Rajhi and Gottschalk showcased impeccable skill and determination throughout the grueling stages, demonstrating the unmatched performance and reliability of the Stilo VENTI WRC helmet.

In a breakthrough performance, Mattias Ekström and Emil Bergkvist (SWE) claimed their first-ever Dakar podium, finishing third overall in their debut appearance with the Ford Raptor prepared by M-Sport. This result underscores Stilo’s unwavering commitment to supporting innovation and excellence across a variety of teams and vehicles.

Stilo also celebrated a resounding victory in the SSV category, where Brock Heger and Max Eddy (USA), competing for the Loeb Racing – RZR Factory Racing team, triumphed on their Dakar debut. They were closely followed by another Stilo-equipped crew, Francisco Lopez Contardo and Juan Pablo Latrach (CHL) of the Can-Am Factory Team, who secured second place, underlining Stilo’s versatility and widespread success.

In the Challenger category, Stilo dominated the podium with a sensational hat-trick finish. Nicolas Cavigliasso and Valentina Pertegarini (ARG) of Team BBR took the top spot with a masterful performance ahead of Gonçalo Guerreiro and Cadu Sachs (POR), representing Red Bull Off-Road Jr Team USA by BFG. The podium was completed by Pau Navarro (ESP) and Lisandro Ezequiel Sisterna Herrera (ARG), also from Team BBR.
