Un Gp sfortunato per Elia Sammartin.

Il mondiale supermoto fa tappa per la prima volta sul circuito di Slomczyn in Polonia, tracciato veloce ma con tratti molto guidati e uno sterrato molto difficile da interpretare che ha creato molti problemi ai piloti.
Nelle qualifiche Elia Sammartin fa vedere di essere in ottima forma e riesce a tenere una velocità incredibile che gli permette di issarsi al secondo posto della classifica molto vicino alla pole position, Andrea Stucchi non riesce a trovare il giusto feeling con la pista molto scivolosa e non riesce a fare meglio del 17° tempo.
Elia entra nella Super Pole conscio di poter dare la zampata e grazie ad un giro perfetto senza nessuna sbavatura si porta a casa la sua prima pole position in carriera.
Al via della Race One Elia è perfetto nello stacco della frizione e si porta al comando delle operazioni, Sammartin ha guidato nel primo giro con una velocità incredibile e sembrava averne di più dei suoi diretti avversari, purtroppo la sfortuna è dietro l’angolo e nel tratto in sterrato ha bucato il pneumatico posteriore, a fine weekend si conteranno più di 30 forato tra tutti i piloti, il forte pilota veneto è costretto a fermarsi in pit lane per cambiare la gomma, ripartito in ultima posizione ha recuperato fino alla 17° piazza finale. Buona gara per Stucchi che è riuscito a trovare più feeling e ha concluso 14°.
Nella Fast Race Elia non riesce a bissare la bella partenza della prima manche ma si accoda in terza posizione conscio di avere un passo gara molto veloce per potersi giocare la vittoria, nel corso del terzo giro Sammartin è stato vittima di una brutta caduta, fortunatamente senza conseguenze per il pilota, ma la sua Honda ha subito parecchi danni che lo hanno costretto al ritiro. Andrea Stucchi ancora bravissimo a migliorare la sua prestazione con il 13° posto.
La Super Final che vede l’ordine di partenza in base all’arrivo di gara 2 vede Elia Sammartin partire dall’ultima casella dello schieramento. Il “Samma” ha compiuto un’impresa epica e con una velocità incredibile ha rimontato fino alla terza posizione finale. Stucchi conclude con una gara in crescendo e anche lui ottiene un grande risultato con l’undicesimo posto.
Max Gazzarata:”Che posso dire una giornata pazzesca, un circuito bellissimo ma è venuta fuori una gara stranissima, ha vinto chi ha avuto più fortuna ma i valori in campo sono ben diversi dal risultato finale. Elia e Andrea hanno fatto due gare diverse ma molto interessanti, Sammartin è statpo velocissimo nella giornata di sabato con la pole position e aveva il passo per poter stare davanti ma la foratura ci ha distrutto moralmente, in gara 2 una caduta che dobbiamo ancora capire il perché e nell’ultima manche ha fatto una grandissima rimonta con il terzo posto.
